Account Executive

Role Description:

We are currently looking for a resourceful, driven, team player with a competitive spirit, and strong business acumen to help contribute to the rapidly growing sales team. If you have a curiosity for technology, a passion for making your customers successful this could be the role for you.

Successful AEs at RingLead have the ability to develop prospecting skills using the following methods: Outbound calls, personalized emails, social selling, personalized texting, and target account selling. All of our sales professionals have the ability to continuously learn and develop their skills. They are engaged with their customers at every level of the sales cycle, from account planning, through the development of the deal, to the close of business. They're the trusted advisors to the RingLead customer base.  

This person won't simply focus on selling the world's #1 data management solution, they will also cross-sell our entire suite of products, which includes world-class solutions for DMS Cleanse, DMS Duplicate Prevention, DMS Enrichment, and DMS Capture, and our full suite, DMS. The goal of an Account Executive is to schedule product demos and proposal calls on a weekly basis (full calendars). Our goal is to build an organization of smart, ambitious Account Executives, committed to our performance-based culture, continuous learning, and exceeding our customer's expectations.

Compensation:

BASE + COMMISSION + SALES INCENTIVES + STOCK

Responsibilities:

  • Success will be measured monthly based on achieving your employee expectations and continuously working to improve.
  • Proactively identify, engage, and close new business.
  • Generate new business opportunities to fuel the Enterprise or Commercial pipeline
  • Create and prioritize strategic target account lists within a defined territory
  • Research and build "cold accounts" (i.e. adding contacts, sending emails, cold calling, social selling)
  • Conduct high-level conversations with Senior Executives in prospect accounts
  • Successfully partner with business leaders to understand the business needs and execute on goals to foster an environment of sustainable growth and success.

Basic Skill & Requirements:

  • Strong and demonstrated written and verbal communications skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, positive team environment
  • Strong desire to be in Technology Sales
  • Previous business sales experience (Software sales a plus)
  • Motivated, proactive, and dynamic sales approach
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • 4-year BA/BS Degree

Preferred Requirements:

  • 2+ years in a sales role with an understanding of Saas or technology sales
  • Experience managing and closing complex sales-cycle
  • Experience managing a quota (weekly/ monthly/ quarterly)
  • Previous Sales Methodology training
  • Salesforce  or any CRM user experience
  • Track record of over-achieving quota (top 10-20% of company) in past positions
  • Strong customer references
